We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team at Concat, a leading international company in the field of data management and storage solutions. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing high-availability storage solutions using NetApp MetroCluster to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implementation: Design and implement high-availability storage solutions using NetApp MetroCluster to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Storage Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop, execute, and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures using backup systems.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, capacity, and utilization of storage systems to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with virtualization and system administration teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of storage systems.
- Life Cycle Management: Manage the life cycle of storage devices, including firmware upgrades and patching.
- Automation: Develop automation scripts for routine storage management tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation on storage infrastructure, configurations, procedures, and guidelines to promote knowledge sharing and business continuity.
- Security: Ensure that storage infrastructure meets security guidelines and best practices, including the implementation of security hardening measures.
- IT Security and Governance: Collaborate closely with operational IT security and IT governance teams.
- Rotating Shifts: Participate in weekly rotating shifts.

Please note that we do not cover costs associated with interviews.
Requirements- Completed Professional Education in a relevant field, such as computer science or a related field, or a comparable qualification.
- Knowledge of Storage Technologies such as NetApp MetroClusters, SAN, NAS, All-Flash Arrays, and understanding of storage protocols like iSCSI, NFS, and Fibre Channel.
- Knowledge of Backup Systems and procedures, including configuration and management of tape libraries for data backup and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of Azure Blob Storage.
- Ability to Analyze and Optimize Storage System Performance, including troubleshooting performance issues and adjusting configurations as needed.
- Understanding of RAID Configurations, data replication, and other techniques to ensure data integrity and redundancy.
- Basic Understanding of Network Architectures, including subnets, VLANs, and IP addressing in the context of storage systems.
- Knowledge of Security Best Practices for storage systems, including encryption, access control, and patch management.
- Setup and Configuration of Monitoring Tools for storage systems.
- Diagnosis and Troubleshooting of Complex Storage-Related Issues with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid Driver's License (Class B).
