Senior Information Security Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Analyst to join our team at LYNX Berlin. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for leading our organization's efforts to protect our information systems and networks from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Security Policies: Lead the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.
- Manage IT Security Projects: Manage IT security projects company-wide, guiding junior team members and coordinating stakeholder from other teams.
- Conduct Security Risk Assessments: Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Develop Incident Response Plans: Develop and implement security incident response plans and conduct incident investigations to determine the root cause of incidents and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor Security Logs: Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential security threats and incidents and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with IT Teams: Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including DNB IT Security Good Practice Guide, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Provide Guidance and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security analysts and other IT staff.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Security Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively identify potential vulnerabilities and improve our security posture.
- Design and Implement Security Controls: Design and implement security controls to protect our IT infrastructure and systems.
- Manage IAM Systems: Manage and maintain our Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Information Security analysis, with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and project management.
- Skills: Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, operating systems, and web application architecture. Experience with incident response and investigation. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Certifications: Certifications such as ITIL, Scrum, CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
- Security Frameworks: Familiarity with security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO, and CIS.
- Project Management: Experience managing security projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and documentation.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
