About the Role

As a seasoned SEO Manager, you will be responsible for driving the conception and implementation of SEO projects that enhance the idealo SEO performance, with a focus on our French domain idealo.fr. You will also contribute to our global SEO strategy and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research and analyze keyword clusters to inform content strategy with the French content team.
  • Collaborate with the French Management Team and Country Manager to develop the overall strategy for idealo.fr.
  • Develop and execute SEO projects that extend beyond the French market, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Optimize on-page structure, internal linking, landing pages, and search engine crawling.
  • Monitor and evaluate SEO performance, develop concepts and tests to improve it, and manage projects from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in SEO, with a passion for the field.
  • Significant experience in technical SEO analysis and reporting, with a deep understanding of Google's ranking factors.
  • Experience working with SEO tools, such as Screaming Frog, Sistrix, Searchmetrics, ahrefs, and Search Console.
  • Proficiency in Excel and a keen eye for data, with knowledge of SQL and other databases a plus.
  • Native-level fluency in French (C2) and fluency in English, with German a plus.
