Business Development Director

At DMA, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Practice Development to join our team. This role will be responsible for driving business development efforts, expanding market share in focused tax practice areas, and managing a large set of client and prospect accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with DMA service personnel to identify and pursue strategic business opportunities that benefit both clients and DMA.
- Participate in field business development efforts, leveraging DMA's experience, reputation, and existing relationships to drive growth.
- Build trust with clients and prospects by understanding their tax issues and challenges, and articulating the value of DMA's services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal colleagues and external clients and prospects.
- Provide quality project and relationship management, ensuring successful delivery of DMA's services.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional business development experience, preferably in tax consulting or related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience using CRM software.
- Previous demonstrable track record of business development success, with a focus on intangible products.
- Ability to travel as required (approximately 15-20% of the time).
