What the job is about

At ADM, we're looking for talented individuals to join our Commercial Trainee Program. As a trainee, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the agricultural commodity trading, transportation, and processing markets through hands-on roles within one of our European locations.

You'll follow a learning plan that balances business requirements and personal development, with support from a mentor from the Trading team. During your traineeship, you'll gain knowledge about contract law, logistics, contract execution, risk management, and the financial implications of trading decisions.

What will make you successful

  • Master's or bachelor degree, preferably in an Economics, Business, or Agricultural discipline
  • Strong interest in Agri-commodity trading business
  • Strong drive for success, great analytical skills, self-motivated, results-oriented, and always striving for continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, additional languages beneficial
  • Willing to travel and/or relocate within Europe
  • Valid EU work permit
