Field Service Engineer – Medical Equipment

Our client, a global leader in providing comprehensive solutions for rapid and reliable Urea Breath Tests, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and launch instruments at customer locations.
  • Provide training and support to customers and distributors to ensure effective use of equipment.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Offer high-quality support to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Suggest additional products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Handle complaints, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
  • Manage spare parts and equipment, maintain records, and prepare maintenance estimates.
  • Contribute to conference planning and preparation.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in mechanics, electronics, and engineering.
  • Experience in medical analysis laboratories.
  • Ideal experience with medical devices and/or in vitro diagnostics.
  • Fluency in German and English; proficiency in a third language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
