Field Service Engineer – Medical Equipment

Our client, a global leader in providing comprehensive solutions for rapid and reliable Urea Breath Tests, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and launch instruments at customer locations, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Provide comprehensive training to customers and distributors, empowering them to effectively utilize the equipment.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Offer exceptional support to customers, addressing their needs and concerns, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Suggest additional products and services, such as maintenance contracts, to meet customer needs and enhance their overall experience.
  • Handle complaints, non-conformities, and corrective actions, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Track spare parts and equipment, maintain accurate records, and prepare maintenance estimates for customer approval.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and prepare for conferences, ensuring a seamless and successful experience.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in mechanics, electronics, and engineering, with a focus on medical devices and in vitro diagnostics.
  • Experience working with medical analysis laboratories, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Fluency in German and English, with proficiency in a third language a plus.
  • Proficiency in office automation tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
