About the Role

The Transparency International Secretariat is seeking a highly skilled Project Associate to join the Projects Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating the start-up, workflow, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) of new and ongoing projects. Your primary focus will be on supporting the implementation of the Climate Governance Integrity project (CGIP), a global grant funded by the Waverley Street Foundation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project start-up and workflow, ensuring consistency with Transparency International's processes and best practice standards.
  • Support project leads and partners in monitoring and evaluating project/programme advocacy interventions and impact.
  • Contribute to reviewing periodic narrative and financial reports from chapters, ensuring they adhere to project guidelines.
  • Ensure high-quality MEL data collection, analysis, reporting, and strengthen gender and inclusion mainstreaming activities.
  • Assist in developing learning products and organizing learning events based on MEL findings.
  • Support the preparation of project outputs, including narrative/accountability reports, trainings, events, presentations, publications, communications materials, and web content.
  • Support financial administration and compliance of the project, including monitoring budgets, contracting partners and consultants, and organizing funding transfers.
Requirements
  • University degree in social sciences, administration, journalism, economics, management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in project management, budget/financial monitoring, and MEL support or related fields.
  • Experience with donor-funded projects in the civil society field and donor rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of or interest in the work of Transparency International and the anti-corruption field.
  • Excellent organizational and financial skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Results-oriented, resilient, and tenacious, with exceptional attention to detail and high-quality standards of data task delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and network effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English and Spanish, with additional languages an advantage.
