Automotive Design Innovator

Xiaomi Technology is seeking a talented Automotive Design Innovator to join our team and contribute to the creation of innovative and aesthetically pleasing vehicle designs that align with our brand's vision and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design Concept Development:

Create innovative design concepts for vehicle exteriors and interiors, ensuring that designs align with brand identity and market trends.

Develop sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design ideas and ensure design feasibility.


• Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product planners, and marketing teams, to ensure design alignment with business goals and feasibility.

Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive design excellence.


• Design Execution and Prototyping:

Develop detailed design specifications and CAD models for production, ensuring designs meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.

Oversee the development of prototypes and mock-ups to validate design concepts.


• User-Centered Design:

Conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions.

Create user personas, journey maps, and experience flows to ensure designs provide an exceptional user experience.


• Trend Analysis and Research:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor designs, and emerging technologies to integrate insights into design proposals and iterations.

Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark against leading automotive designs.

Requirements:


• Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or a related field.


• Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.


• Technical Skills:

Proficiency in design software such as Alias, CATIA, Rhino, Photoshop, and other industry-standard tools.


• Portfolio:

A compelling portfolio showcasing a range of innovative automotive designs and successful projects.


• Communication and Problem-Solving Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
