Automotive Design Innovator

As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing vehicle designs that align with our brand's vision and customer expectations. Your role will involve developing design concepts for both exterior and interior components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that designs are practical and manufacturable.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design ideas.
- Ensure that designs align with brand identity and market trends.
- Work closely with engineers, product planners, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop detailed design specifications and CAD models for production.
- Oversee the development of prototypes and mock-ups.
- Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing, to gather insights.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and experience flows to inform design decisions.
- Ensure designs provide an exceptional user experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as Alias, CATIA, Rhino, Photoshop, and other industry-standard tools.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing a range of innovative automotive designs and successful projects.
- Passionate about automotive design and innovation.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and usability.
This is a full-time position based in our design studio with standard office hours. Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines or support studio events.
