Senior Practice Manager, AWS Professional Services Germany

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Practice Manager to lead our Professional Services team in Germany. As a key member of our AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch) team, you will be responsible for building and leading a practice of Professional Services Consultants working with customers and partners to sell and deliver innovative solutions.

You will engage with Director, VP, C-level executives and governing boards to win and lead successful IT transformations. You will develop strategic plans to build and evolve AWS offerings and solutions. You will create and manage opportunities with your team of sales-focused Enterprise Service Managers and Customer Delivery Architects.

You will work closely with partner teams, driving business development initiatives and meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction targets. This role requires experience in selling and delivering IT solutions in agile environments.

You will build high-performing teams of consultants with excellent sales skills, technical depth, and innovative customer relationship skills, all while encouraging career-focused progression including capabilities of AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a practice of Professional Services Consultants
  • Develop strategic plans to build and evolve AWS offerings and solutions
  • Engage with Director, VP, C-level executives and governing boards
  • Work closely with partner teams to drive business development initiatives
  • Build high-performing teams of consultants

Requirements

  • Multiple years of progressive experience in selling and delivering professional services within the IT marketplace
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud providers models, with emphasis on building and delivering best practices
  • Proven experience building and leading teams through a career life-cycle development of growth and delivery
  • Experience managing a consulting practice or team's full profit and loss (P&L)
  • Proficiency in German language
