About the Role

As a Senior Manager Solutions Architect Germany at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch), you will be responsible for leading and growing a team of senior technology professionals in Germany. This role requires a strong software/technology customer-facing experience and the ability to communicate effectively across internal and external organizations, with both technical and non-technical audiences at C-level.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a customer-focused strategy to drive adoption of AWS in Germany.
• Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop a strong team of Solutions Architects.
• Coach Solutions Architects in the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. Requirements

• Significant experience in leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals.
• Strong software/technology customer-facing experience.
• High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations, with both technical and non-technical audiences at C-level.
• Technical degree.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Working knowledge of software development life cycle, tools, and methodologies.
