About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Excellence Manager to join our Global BRS Network team at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across our breeding stations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Execute Improvement Projects: Develop and execute Lean Management and Six Sigma improvement projects to enhance organizational performance and drive sustainable results.
  • Identify Improvement Opportunities: Analyze processes and identify areas for improvement, prioritizing and deriving optimization measures using state-of-the-art process improvement tools.
  • Align with R&D Process Landscape: Ensure alignment with our overall R&D process landscape, supporting the function to adapt the active usage of process life-cycle management.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators: Create compelling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for global administrative functions, ensuring effective process management through data-driven metrics.
  • Implement Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to manage risks and safeguard global business continuity within the organization.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: Successful completion of a master's degree in engineering, economics, or related fields.
  • Relevant Experience: Several years of relevant professional experience in an Operational or Transactional function.
  • Lean Management and Six Sigma: Applied expertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment, with proficiency in dealing with difficult situations.
  • LEAN SIX SIGMA Certification: LEAN SIX SIGMA certification (green belt or higher).
  • Business Process Management: Familiarity with Business Process Management and Continuous Improvement using common methods.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and one other language (German is advantageous).
