Employee Relations Manager, Amazon Operations, Europe

We are seeking an Employee Relations/Labor Relations Manager to support our German Employee Relations Team. This role will be responsible for ensuring fair, consistent, and transparent employee relations processes across our sites in Germany.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance to senior leadership teams on developing and implementing programs and projects to foster a positive and engaging relationship with employees.
- Supporting Amazon organization with strategic and operational advice in terms of trade unions.
- Partnering with Public Relations for all labor relations related external communication and working with Internal Communications for internal communication.
You will be embedded in a fun-to-work-with team and will have the opportunity to work on projects relevant to all sites of the business line(s) you are supporting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Progressive, hands-on, and customer-obsessed with the credibility and capability to succeed in a fast-moving and customer-focused commercial environment.
- Relevant HR/ER experience in Germany, the Netherlands, and/or Austria, ideally within a high-volume, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment.
- Problem-solving and analytical capability, experience of managing ambiguity, and analyzing HR metrics to find root causes and develop short, medium, and long-term plans.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels, including hourly paid and shop floor employees.
- Emotional intelligence, a proven hands-on attitude, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Strong change management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Fluent in German and English, with Dutch language skills a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Good understanding of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel) and HR information systems.
