Logistics Associate/Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the scheduling and execution of transportation, relocation, and construction projects at SAP's headquarters in WDF&ROT.
  • Act as a liaison between users and external service providers.
  • Process customer complaints, define standards, and control external service providers' adherence to these standards in day-to-day operations and during the bidding process.
  • Regularly review the ticketing system interface to incorporate requirements from other internal departments and work with external service providers to address these needs within defined standards (e.g., events, projects, relocation management, ESG).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and document relevant processes (e.g., occupational health and safety, ESG).
  • Process orders and invoices for external service providers.
  • Contribute to budget planning and management, and independently develop analyses for optimization suggestions and their follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with other infrastructure and technical teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a logistics specialist, commercial clerk, or a comparable profession.
  • 1-5 years of experience in the mentioned fields.
  • Experience in planning and executing relocation or large-scale transportation projects.
  • Familiarity with international corporate environments and commercial requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Good English language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High service and customer orientation.
  • Teamwork ability.
  • Willingness to work in a flexible and dynamic environment.
  • Interest in continuous process optimization and openness to new ideas.
  • Independent and structured work approach.
