Group Supply Chain Planning Expert

Job Description

As a Group Supply Chain Planning Expert, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining group-wide harmonized SC Planning standards, driving business performance improvements, and leading capability build for the area of expertise. You will also optimize and promote end-to-end / Group-wide supply chain alignment & collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Group Process Owner: Own the Materials Planning and Prod. Scheduling "One Template" solution, encompassing process, application configuration, roles, and standards.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Analyze performance/KPIs, prospect opportunities, derive initiatives/projects for root-cause analysis and solutioning for own area of expertise, Group-wide.
  • Management Unit (MU) Business Partner: Collaborate with the assigned Management Unit to monitor overall Supply Chain performance/KPIs, define improvement actions and connect to the internal network of experts for support.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields. Specialization or certification in Supply Chain Management is desirable.
  • 8-10 years of experience in supply chain planning, with emphasis to planning roles in a manufacturing environment for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Desirable in-house consulting experience.
  • Experience in managing materials planning process and operations supported by modern IT Systems (ERP/MRP, APS). Experience in scheduling production and performing detailed capacity planning supported by modern scheduling applications/ solutions.
  • Desirable experience/knowledge in adjacent business processes, like integrated business planning (IBP/S&OP), demand planning, supply planning/MPS, procurement and manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Lean Mgmt. concepts/ techniques for waste/loss elimination and problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills on all levels of the organisation.
