A Supply Chain Optimization Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our company's supply chain operates at peak efficiency. This role involves planning and managing the supply of goods to meet customer demand, optimizing inventory levels, and minimizing costs. The Specialist collaborates with various departments, including Supply Planners and warehouses, Commercial and finance Teams, to align supply plans with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate stock projections based on supply plans that align with demand forecasts.
  • Ensure warehouses have sufficient inbound capacity planning in short and long horizons, analyzing possible risks and opportunities.
  • Track and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs (projection of OOS or overstock risk).
  • Analyze data and track performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Support operations cost-effectiveness via warehouse capacity planning: track incoming capacity of each warehouse, analyze risk in upcoming inbounds, ensure efficient routes, and adjust container arrivals, coordinating with direct replenishment.
  • Coordinate and monitor orders from Asia to Europe, projecting how ETA changes will affect country availability, stock levels, and warehouse capacity.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to stakeholders for data-driven decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business goals, streamline operations, and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI).
  • Proven experience in supply chain management. Experience working in a retail or e-commerce environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including ERP systems and logistics management platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights. Proactive approach in identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present data and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential
