Job Title: Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Western Digital. As a key member of our Platforms Business Unit, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development and sales growth in data storage, storage networking, or related areas
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and simplified manner
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in data storage, storage networking, or related areas with storage ODMs, OEMs, Systems Integrators, and Hyperscale Data Centers
  • Previous experience in storage networking topologies is a plus
