About the Role

Boston Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our Health Solutions & Partners team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing successful sales strategies to build relationships with influential clinical, administrative, and economic decision-makers within targeted groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and key accounts, identifying and developing a stakeholder network, and reinforcing relationships at C-Suite level.
  • Facilitate contract negotiations involving all company products, creating a comprehensive 'bundle' of product and value-add services.
  • Lead the strategic account mapping and planning process, developing mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a mid-term period.
  • Coordinate involvement of Boston's divisions and functions within focus accounts to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Monitor reimbursement trends in the country, developing and executing approaches to include and maintain BSC products in the reimbursement system.
  • Help define negotiation parameters for economically constrained customer situations.
  • Sell our ADVANTICS portfolio of Services & Solutions, building robust long-term partnerships with focus accounts.
  • Maintain knowledge of the industry, gathering information on changes in the healthcare market to inform country strategy.
  • Coordinate Account Teams in executing and delivering against commercial agreements with focus accounts, guaranteeing profitable growth of Boston Scientific's book of business.
Requirements
  • Advanced Education Degree (Masters)
  • Demonstrable professional experience in sales, including relevant experience in business development (5-10 years)
  • Business fluent in German and proficient level of English
  • Project Management experience in healthcare from concept to execution
  • Relationship building/customer engagement skills (C-level)
  • Change management and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical skills to resolve complex issues in creative ways
  • Proven ability to work and influence across a matrix environment
  • Strong communicator internally and externally, builds networks, and partners with peers
