Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and handle customer orders and special requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Accept and enter customer orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Prepare quotations and provide customers with detailed information about their orders
- Schedule customer orders over the phone and ensure timely delivery
- Compile and provide data for further processing in the warehouse and disposition areas
- Monitor deadlines for customer orders and provide feedback to relevant departments and customers
- Process customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
- Generate and send invoices for services rendered
- Develop and maintain customer-related key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements:
- Completed training as a forwarding merchant or equivalent training
- Practical experience in the commercial area of a forwarding agency is desirable
- Proficient in MS-Office applications, with a focus on Excel
- Fluent in written and spoken German
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
