Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Development Program professional to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the account manager with sales opportunities of new and existing customers, ensuring the successful management of company products and services to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales processes in the accounts for an assigned geography, aligning with approved sales and marketing plans in collaboration with account managers.
  • Participate in sales, product, and systems training, as well as marketing campaigns and special projects, to develop the necessary selling skills.
  • Assist the sales manager in negotiations with customers, including the preparation and follow-up of sales quotations.
  • Provide regular updates on sales numbers to team leaders and management, working closely with the supported sales manager.
  • Maintain and expand the current customer database through effective use of customer relationship management software (CRM).

Requirements

  • Degree in Molecular Biology is preferred.
  • Equivalent experience within Life Sciences is absolutely acceptable.
  • Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 required).
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to thrive in a successful team and adapt to a constantly evolving business environment.
  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in sales or other customer-facing roles would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
