Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Leader to drive strategic solutions architecture in Germany. This role involves coaching and growing teams of technically skilled Solutions Architects, developing industry-leading cloud-based solutions, and fostering customer adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) within the region.

About the Role

  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and grow high-performing teams of Solutions Architects, ensuring they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver exceptional results.
  • Solutions Architecture: Develop innovative, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of AWS Enterprise customers in Germany.
  • Customer Adoption: Collaborate with account management teams to formulate and execute customer-focused strategies, driving the adoption of AWS across various customer segments.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Coach Solutions Architects on presentation and training skills, enabling them to effectively transfer technical knowledge to customers.
  • Communication and Partnership: Establish strong relationships with CXO-level executives, account management teams, service engineering teams, and support, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and growing senior technology teams, with significant expertise in software/technology customer-facing roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development life cycles, tools, and methodologies, as well as adaptability in learning new technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences at C-level.
  • Education: Technical degree required.
