Job Summary:

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a skilled Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering parts and products to our stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and distribution centers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and accurate.
  • Responsible for keeping fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Project a professional and personable image, maintaining good customer relations and communicating effectively with store management.
  • Check fluid levels, log mileage, and report vehicle maintenance needs to store manager, ensuring vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Drive safely and defensively, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
  • Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
