Process Improvement Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at SCHERDEL as a Mitarbeiter Arbeitsvorbereitung. As a key member of our production logistics team, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing business processes to drive efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clarify process requirements to improve and automate AV processes, focusing on simplification and automation.
- Develop decision-making templates to design SAP business processes in the production and logistics area.
- Contribute to the selection and collection of process indicators and key performance indicators to enhance process control and transparency.
- Develop and conduct training sessions on the SAP system and create documentation for the SCHERDEL works in the production and logistics area.
- Support SAP implementation projects S/4 HANA in the SCHERDEL works.
- Contribute to the development and introduction of a key user concept in the production network, including technical support for key users in the production and logistics area.
- Implement and strategically manage SAP business processes in the production and logistics area in close collaboration with other departments such as purchasing, sales, and quality management.
About You:
- Technical education with further training as a technician or degree (e.g., industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.) with initial experience in project management.
- Understanding of technical and organizational production processes in the metalworking and assembly technology sector, practical experience in production planning desirable.
- Experience with SAP R3 or S4/HANA, focus on PP module, experience with EWM and PPDS desirable.
- IT and process affinity, as well as understanding of production processes and relationships.
- Independent working style, enjoyment of developing solutions in a team/changemanagement.
- High communication skills, assertiveness, independent working style.
- Very good German and English language skills, intercultural competence, willingness to travel.
