Position: SAP Logistics and Production Specialist

We are seeking a committed professional to take on the role of SAP Logistics and Production Specialist. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Identifying and clarifying process requirements to enhance and automate AV workflows.
  • Developing decision-making templates to optimize SAP business processes within the manufacturing and logistics sectors.
  • Collaborating in the identification and collection of process indicators and metrics to improve process oversight and transparency.
  • Facilitating training sessions on SAP systems and producing documentation for SCHERDEL facilities in the manufacturing and logistics domains.
  • Engaging in SAP implementation initiatives for S/4 HANA across SCHERDEL facilities.
  • Assisting in the formulation and execution of a Key User concept within the production network, which includes providing support to Key Users in manufacturing and logistics.
  • Executing and strategically overseeing SAP business processes in manufacturing and logistics while working closely with other departments such as procurement, sales, and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Technical education complemented by further training as a technician or academic background (e.g., industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.) with initial experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with technical and organizational production processes in forming and assembly technology, with practical experience in production planning being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SAP R3 or S4/HANA, particularly in Module PP, with experience in EWM and PPDS being a plus.
  • Strong IT and process affinity along with a solid understanding of production processes and their interrelations.
  • Ability to work independently, with a passion for collaborative solution development and change management.
  • Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a self-directed work style.
  • Fluency in both German and English, intercultural competence, and a willingness to travel.
