Production Operations Specialist

Position: Production & Logistics SAP Specialist

We are seeking a committed professional to fulfill the role of Production & Logistics SAP Specialist. This position encompasses the following responsibilities:

  • Defining process requirements to enhance and automate AV workflows
  • Creating decision frameworks to shape SAP business operations in production and logistics
  • Collaborating on the identification and collection of process metrics for improved control and transparency
  • Facilitating training sessions on SAP systems and developing documentation within SCHERDEL's production and logistics sectors
  • Engaging in SAP implementation initiatives for S/4 HANA across SCHERDEL facilities
  • Assisting in the formulation and execution of a Key User strategy within the production network, including support for Key Users in production and logistics
  • Executing and strategically overseeing SAP business operations in production and logistics, working closely with departments such as procurement, sales, and quality assurance

Qualifications:

  • Technical education complemented by further training as a technician or academic background (e.g., industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.) with initial project management experience
  • Comprehension of technical and organizational production workflows in forming and assembly technology, with practical experience in production planning being advantageous
  • Proficiency in SAP R3 or S4/HANA, particularly in Module PP, with experience in EWM and PPDS considered a plus
  • Strong affinity for IT and processes, alongside an understanding of production workflows and interdependencies
  • Ability to work independently, with a passion for collaborative solution development and change management
  • Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a self-directed work approach
  • Fluency in both German and English, with intercultural competence and a willingness to travel
