Assistant Living Area Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Living Area Manager to join our team at AWO Senior Center Wörrstadt. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the deputy management of a living area and the nursing and professional care of our residents.

• Lead a team of caregivers in providing high-quality care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
• Develop and implement care plans that prioritize resident-centered care and promote a safe and harmonious living environment.
• Collaborate with the nursing management team to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Manage and coordinate personnel deployment, ensuring adequate staffing levels and skill mix to meet the needs of residents.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss resident care, staff development, and facility operations.

• Completed training as a nursing specialist or geriatric nurse, with several years of nursing practice, preferably in elderly care.
• Evidence of further training for executives in the nursing sector, such as a living area management course, or willingness to start the further training within the first year after taking over the position.
• Initial experience as a manager, e.g., as a deputy living area manager, group or shift leader, is desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office package, ideally knowledge of the nursing software Vivendi PD/PEP and quality management systems.
• Empathy, conflict resolution skills, and appreciation in dealing with residents, their relatives, and colleagues.
• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor when dealing with internal and external interfaces.
