About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Living Area Manager to join our team at AWO Senior Center Wörrstadt. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the deputy management of a living area and will work closely with our nursing management and other living area managers to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of caregivers to provide high-quality nursing and professional care to residents
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of residents
  • Collaborate with the nursing management team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Manage and coordinate personnel deployment to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient use of resources
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss resident care, staff development, and facility operations
Requirements
  • Completed training as a nursing specialist or geriatric nurse, with several years of nursing practice, preferably in elderly care
  • Evidence of further training for executives in the nursing sector, such as a living area management course, or willingness to start the further training within the first year after taking over the position
  • Initial experience as a manager, such as a deputy living area manager, group or shift leader, is desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package, ideally knowledge of nursing software and quality management systems
  • Empathy, conflict resolution skills, and appreciation in dealing with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Strong communication skills and confident demeanor when dealing with internal and external interfaces
