Deputy Manager of Living Area

Your Responsibilities- Assist in the management of a designated living area, ensuring high standards of nursing and professional care for our residents.
- Utilize current nursing knowledge along with legal and economic considerations to maintain consistent quality of care.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for residents, their families, medical professionals, and visitors, demonstrating empathy and expertise.
- Lead your team in alignment with AWO values, fostering their development through a strengths-based approach.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage, coordinate, and plan personnel deployment effectively.
- Collaborate with the management team, nursing leadership, and fellow living area managers, ensuring transparent communication within your team through regular meetings.
- Completed training as a nursing specialist or geriatric nurse, along with several years of practical experience in elderly care.
- Certification in executive training within the nursing sector (living area management course) or a commitment to pursue this training within the first year of employment.
- Previous management experience, such as serving as a deputy living area manager or team leader, is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is desirable; familiarity with nursing software and quality management systems is a plus.
- Possess empathy, conflict resolution skills, and a respectful approach when interacting with residents, their families, and colleagues.
- Strong communication abilities and a confident demeanor when engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
