Maintenance Documentation Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Documentation Specialist to join our team at Alstom in Siegen. As a key member of our documentation team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the creation of maintenance documentation for our rail industry clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the activities for the creation of maintenance documentation in accordance with project and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external technical editors to ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Manage the workflow and budget for maintenance documentation creation, with a focus on optimizing the use of engineering resources.
- Ensure that maintenance documentation is created using standardized methods and tools, with a focus on reusability and efficiency.
- Support the implementation and management of projects and innovation processes related to maintenance documentation.
- Organize customer training sessions, including planning, coordination of training materials, and logistical organization.
- Continuously improve training sessions, incorporating feedback and customer evaluations.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification, and/or experience as a technical editor.
- Experience in the rail industry, particularly in maintenance, is highly desirable.
- Experience in technical publishing is also an advantage.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent German and English language skills, with French language skills an asset.
- Willingness to travel.
