Your Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Software Development Team Lead to guide a team of skilled back-end developers. This role offers strategic impact on our business as you lead the development and maintenance of key components within our back-end infrastructure, essentially the backbone of the SimScale platform.

Your responsibilities will encompass cloud cost management, software architecture, technical roadmapping, operations, and stakeholder management. If you possess a passion for people management, strong technical expertise, and a drive to solve complex problems, this opportunity is for you.

What We Expect
  • 10+ years of professional experience in software development
  • 3+ years of experience leading software development teams, either formally or technically
  • A degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience developing software-as-a-service solutions, preferably on public cloud infrastructure
  • A track record of delivering successful projects
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders
  • Self-motivation and a strong desire to solve problems, innovate, and simplify complex systems
  • A commitment to fostering a culture of technical ownership, balancing operations, new development, and continuous improvement of legacy code within your team's domain
  • While you have experience managing teams, you remain a hands-on software developer at heart, maintaining a passion for the craft
  • Business acumen: You judiciously apply your technical knowledge, always considering context and business value. You prioritize technology solutions that address real problems.
