About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Engineer to join our team at CELUS. As a key member of our engineering community, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced graph and network optimization algorithms and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement back-end services that leverage graph and network optimization algorithms to drive business value.
  • Optimize existing algorithms and solutions to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs and performance criteria.
  • Develop and own features end-to-end, working independently or in collaboration with other team members.
  • Review, maintain, and refactor existing code to meet the requirements for improved or new features.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience as a Back-End Engineer, with a focus on optimization algorithms and graph theory.
  • Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++ is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of optimization algorithms, particularly graph algorithms.
  • Experience working on projects or problems involving graph and network optimization is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
