Market Development Lead - Automotive Industry

Dolby Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled Market Development Lead to join our Automotive business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing market development strategies to drive growth and revenue in the automotive infotainment market.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the in-car infotainment market, including customers, automotive supply-chain partners, and end-users.
  • Collaborate with product managers to identify unmet needs and pain points in the market that Dolby can address.
  • Develop and articulate a compelling value proposition for our offerings, tailored to each audience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and derive relevant insights for the automotive business.
  • Develop positioning of our offerings in the market, relative to competitors and other Dolby products.
  • Develop and implement Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for Dolby's automotive offering, including sequencing of activities and execution with the broader organization.
  • Collaborate with Dolby's global and regional marketing teams to execute GTM strategy.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of GTM strategy elements and adjust course as necessary.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in market development, product marketing, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of the automotive infotainment industry, including customers, partners, and end-users.
  • Proven track record of delivering full lifecycle projects, including market research, product development, and GTM execution.
  • Customer-facing market development experience, with a focus on automotive consumers and purchasing journey.
  • Ability to handle complexity and simplify it for others, with a strong understanding of automotive consumers and purchasing journey.
