Job Responsibilities

As a Team Lead for Software Development, you will be part of an international team at Danfoss, a leading player in the electronics industry. Your responsibilities will include forward-looking personnel planning, demand-oriented development and qualification of employees, and work within an agile development organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Refining software requirements, providing development estimates, designing, and implementing software.
  • Designing, developing, and testing front- and microservice-based backend components using the latest C# version and corresponding toolsets.
  • Creating high-quality code to support the roadmap from maintenance to new feature/product development.
  • Participating in 2nd/3rd Level support for our global software solution.

For this position, you will need a university degree in Information Technology or a comparable field and several years of experience in using C# and.NET (Core) Framework as well as databases (e.g., MS-SQL or Oracle).

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Several years of leadership experience in an international matrix environment.
  • Experience in leading remote teams.
  • Knowledge of Clean Code Development (CCD) and programming design patterns (e.g., GoF or SOLID).
  • Experience in working with Containers (e.g., Docker).
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to new technologies and best practices.
  • Fluency in English and German.
