Procurement Specialist Subsurface

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Subsurface team at Wintershall Dea. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for sourcing and contracting for our sub-surface operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for sub-surface categories, including rig services, decommissioning services, and OCTG.
  • Manage tender processes, evaluate proposals, and negotiate contracts to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with project teams to establish project procurement strategies and coordinate between project and procurement organizations.
  • Ensure contract performance and adherence to contractual conditions, handle disputes and claims.
Requirements
  • Relevant vocational education or bachelor's degree in economics, procurement/supply chain, or engineering.
  • At least 2 years' experience in operational/strategic buyer position or alternative profound sourcing and contract management experience.
  • Proactive team player with solution-oriented, self-motivated, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge/understanding of sub-surface markets and categories is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and German (oral and written).
  • High willingness to travel.
