Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lead to join our team. As a Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales operations strategies that drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Align business growth targets with key accounts and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Be the primary point of contact for key accounts, understand their requirements, pipeline, and develop and grow the account.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to sales operations and define metrics for measuring success.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of a CRM system to support sales activities within clinical trials sourcing.
- Utilize CRM data to generate insights on customer behavior, market trends, pipeline analysis, revenue forecasting, and other key sales metrics.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes within clinical trials sourcing, including lead generation, lead qualification, opportunity management, proposal development, contract negotiation, and order processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales processes and overall commercial activities.
- Develop regular reporting mechanisms to track performance against sales targets, KPIs within clinical trials sourcing projects.
- Provide insights on performance trends, identify areas for improvement, and propose actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
- Cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Project Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Clinical Operations to ensure seamless integration between Operations activities and overall commercial efforts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the sales operations function and propose changes aimed at optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the Sales team during contract negotiation and execution by providing support in gathering necessary information and documentation related to pricing agreements and terms and conditions.
- Work closely with the QA team to investigate customer complaints or deviations related to sourced pharmaceutical drugs for clinical trials.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations or related roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong understanding of sales operations processes and best practices.
- Good exposure to client engagement and commercial focus.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
