Head of Future Programs EO Payloads Specialist

OHB System AG is a leading European space company with a strong presence in the Earth observation market. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Head of Future Programs EO Payloads.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire and manage projects in the early phases of development, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Develop and manage offers for future projects within the Earth Observation program area.
  • Lead research activities and ensure continuity across project phases.
  • Coordinate business preparation and research activities with Marketing & Sales, Business Development, and Predevelopment teams.
  • Support the development of a strategic business plan for the Earth Observation program area.
  • Manage the organizational unit and plan tasks in collaboration with specialist departments.
  • Report to the Earth Observation Program Manager.

Your Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience in space travel, with a focus on Earth observation.
  • Experience in offer preparation (A/B/C/D) and A/B research and C/D project management.
  • Knowledge of Business Planning, Marketing & Sales.
  • Good English proficiency.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Tools.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Strong communication and management skills, with the ability to work in a team and demonstrate a sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking.
