Drive Innovation in Earth Observation

OHB System AG, a leading European space company, is seeking a skilled professional to lead our Earth Observation Payloads team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing projects in the early phases of development.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for acquiring and managing future projects within the Earth Observation program area.
  • Lead research and development activities, ensuring continuity across project phases.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development teams to coordinate business preparation and research activities.
  • Support the development of a strategic business plan for the Earth Observation program area.
  • Manage the organizational unit, planning and coordinating tasks with specialist departments.
  • Report to the Earth Observation Program Manager.

Your Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience in space travel, with a focus on Earth Observation.
  • Proven track record in project management, business planning, and marketing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to work in a team.
