Energy Regulatory Expert Regulatory Frameworks

Your Responsibilities- Develop and maintain E.ON's regulatory position on hydrogen and green gas, leveraging financial modeling and commercial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments, providing expert guidance and assessments to support beneficial decision-making.
- Collaborate with Controlling to compare and optimize different regulatory approaches in various countries.
- Support the development of business models, considering current and future regulatory schemes.
- Contribute to positioning papers, prepare statements, and reports, working with experts in politics and external stakeholders to shape regulatory frameworks.
- Share knowledge and expertise within the Green Gas community, developing and maintaining tools and guidelines to manage requirements.
- Participate in regulatory projects with external bodies and associations, and internal groups, to advance the field of Green Gas.
- Work closely with European and German grid regulation teams to share regulatory development and expertise.
- You possess strong economic and/or international regulatory energy industry qualifications.
- You hold an above-average diploma or master's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Law.
- You have in-depth knowledge of national and/or international regulation, with a focus on the EU and Germany, gained in a relevant professional environment.
- You have well-founded analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as high communication skills.
- You are able to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
- You are enthusiastic about acquiring new specialist knowledge, initiating changes, and developing yourself further.
- You remain calm under heavy workloads.
- You have full working proficiency in German and English.
