Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Energy Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Green Gas department, you will be responsible for monitoring regulatory developments and providing strategic guidance to enable beneficial decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor relevant developments in regulatory law and utilize insights gained to develop and deliver strategic guidance and assessments.
- Compare and optimize different regulatory approaches in respective countries in collaboration with Controlling.
- Support the development of different business models with regard to current and future regulatory schemes.
- Provide input for positioning papers, prepare statements, and reports with experts in politics and external opinion building to shape the further development of regulatory frameworks.
- Make insights and know-how available and share key aspects actively within the Green Gas community.
- Participate in projects on regulatory issues with external bodies and associations or in internal groups.
- Collaborate closely with European and German grid regulation teams to share regulatory developments.
- You have good economic and/or international regulatory energy industry qualifications.
- You have an above-average diploma or master's degree preferably in Economics, Engineering, or Law.
- You have deep knowledge of national and/or international regulation with a focus on the EU and Germany gained in a relevant professional environment.
- You have well-founded analytical and conceptual thinking as well as high communication skills.
- You like to work independently but also have the ability to work in a result-oriented manner in interdisciplinary teams.
- You are enthusiastic about acquiring new specialist knowledge, initiating changes, and developing yourself further.
- You stay calm even under heavy workloads.
- You have full working proficiency in German and English.
