Energy Regulatory Expert Regulatory Frameworks

E.ON Hydrogen GmbH is a leading company in the energy sector, focusing on hydrogen and green gas solutions. As a key player in the energy transition, we aim to decarbonize industries and support our customers in their sustainability journey.
Your Responsibilities- Develop and maintain E.ON's regulatory position on hydrogen and green gas, leveraging financial modeling and commercial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide strategic guidance to ensure beneficial outcomes.
- Collaborate with Controlling to compare and optimize regulatory approaches in various countries.
- Support the development of business models aligned with current and future regulatory schemes.
- Contribute to positioning papers, prepare statements, and reports to shape regulatory frameworks.
- Share knowledge and expertise within the Green Gas community, developing tools and guidelines to manage requirements.
- Participate in regulatory projects with external bodies and associations, and collaborate with European and German grid regulation teams.
- Hold good economic and/or international regulatory energy industry qualifications.
- Possess an above-average diploma or master's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Law.
- Have deep knowledge of national and/or international regulation, with a focus on the EU and Germany.
- Exhibit well-founded analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as high communication skills.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Be enthusiastic about acquiring new knowledge, initiating changes, and developing yourself further.
- Stay calm under heavy workloads.
- Have full working proficiency in German and English.
