We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at Volocopter GmbH. As a key member of our maintenance operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical airworthiness of our eVTOL aircraft during the start-up phase and providing essential technical ground support services.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and provide maintenance (Part 145) and technical ground operation services in launch cities on eVTOL aircraft as well as components.
- Secure the airworthiness, safety, and compliance of the eVTOL aircraft by means of regular checks, inspections, analysis, and trouble-shooting.
- Certify the eVTOL aircraft and components for release to service.
- Start-up the maintenance organization in the launch cities.
- Provide maintenance and technical ground operations support for the flight testing campaigns in Germany and abroad.
- Support on logistics and other support processes within the city.
- Document your own technical work in MRO IT system for safety and airworthiness purposes.
- Operate a maintenance station.
- 2+ years of experience holding an EASA Part-66 License CAT B2 / (CAT B1 could be considered).
- English fluent (written and spoken).
- EWIS training.
- Human Factors training.
- Experienced with AOG-Situations / Line Maintenance activities.
