Aerologic Safety and Compliance Specialist

Based at Leipzig/Halle Airport, Aerologic GmbH is a leading cargo airline that has been operating since 2007 as a joint venture between Lufthansa Cargo and DHL Express.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Flight Safety Expert to join our Flight Safety and Compliance Department. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance within Ground Operations and Security.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audits and inspections in Ground Operations and Security areas, preparing and documenting findings.
- Monitor and follow up on corrective actions resulting from audits or safety reports, verifying their implementation.
- Support the revision of departmental manuals, procedures, and checklists.
- Process and assess ground safety occurrence reports.
- Identify hazards from these reports and publish mitigation recommendations if necessary.
- Lead or participate in safety investigations of incidents and occurrences.
- Evaluate the safety impact of operational changes, new technologies, or special occasions.
- Create and issue internal safety publications.
- Assist with administering the Emergency Response Plan.
- Degree in aviation or transport-related education, or equivalent practical experience (at least 5 years).
- Ability to obtain a ZÜP certification.
- Fluency in German and English written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel.
