German Translator Position for Email Campaigns

Hustler Marketing is a world-class email marketing agency that provides customized plans of attack to help clients double or triple their email revenue. As part of our team, you will be responsible for interpreting written content from English to German while maintaining its original meaning, format, and tone.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Translator who can read and thoroughly understand the context of given materials (copy), use specialized dictionaries and translation tools, and proofread finished pieces of work. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in English, in addition to their native language.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Translating full campaign content daily, following the standard set by Account Managers
- Translating full flow content, adhering to the standard set by Account Managers
- Sending previews of translated campaigns and flows to Account Managers
- Ensuring easy readability by checking grammar and spelling
- Implementing feedback received from clients and Account Managers into email flows and campaigns
- Revising translations based on comments and critiques from Account Managers
To succeed in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Native German Speaker
- Availability of at least 3-5 hours a week
- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar role
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Good knowledge of content editing tools
- Familiarity with translation software
- Effective time-management skills
This part-time commitment offers the flexibility to perform tasks at your own preferred time. You will be part of an international team that is always open to helping you if needed. Additionally, there will be a re-assessment of your hourly rate after 6-12 months.
