Team Leader for Tax Support Team

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Team Leader to join our Tax Support Team in Germany. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring seamless support to our tax professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Resource and workload planning, including scheduling of substitutes in case of absences or unexpected workload peaks.
- Coordination of substitute arrangements and vacation planning for the Tax Support Team in the Hannover/Bielefeld/Münster region.
- Steering the organizational integration and professional orientation of the Tax Support Team.
- Coordinating the exchange and collaboration among assistants, including training and development opportunities (regular meetings, training sessions, etc.).
- Onboarding and coordination of new team members.
- Serving as a liaison between partners/managers and assistants regarding communication and process design.
- Supporting the implementation of new processes in the Tax Support area, digitalization of onboarding processes, or improvement of other cross-functional processes in the cluster.
- Assuming personnel responsibility for the team under your care.
- Reviewing incoming applications and forwarding them to the Tax Support area, coordinating interviews, and participating in hiring discussions.
- Supporting the organization of internal events, such as partner lunches, partner-manager meetings, HR rounds for managers and subject matter experts.
- Coordinating room allocation and coordinating moves.
- You hold a degree in a field such as office management, secretarial studies, or a related field.
- You have several years of relevant work experience in office management or a similar field.
- You have initial project and leadership experience, which is beneficial for this role.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- You possess exceptional communication skills and high team capabilities.
- You have a professional demeanor and are skilled in conflict resolution.
