Sales Executive

About the Role:
As a Sales Executive - Quota Carrier at FIS, you will be part of a team of self-motivated, high-achieving sales professionals helping small- and medium-sized business owners grow their businesses. By providing industry-leading solutions, you will drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks, and invests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquiring new clients through prospecting, networking, and cold calling to ensure sales quotas are achieved
- Developing a sound sales pipeline of potential sales opportunities in assigned territory and accounts
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans for each major opportunity
- Participating in sales calls and meetings to determine appropriate resources or representation by other FIS departments to win and close the deal
- Building and developing relationships to work with key clients and new prospects at all relevant levels
- Reflecting input activity within and maintaining accurate and comprehensive sales database (Dynamics)
- Maintaining awareness of market and industry trends
- Developing the ability to cross/sell across a full solution suite and associated delivery models (ASP/IMS/On-Premise)
Requirements:
- Prior experience in financial services in and/or Europe
- Industry knowledge within Capital Markets software is desirable but not essential
