Job Summary
OHB System AG is seeking a highly skilled AIT Engineer to join our team in Ottobrunn. As a key member of our AIT team, you will be responsible for technical coordination, process implementation, and documentation of AIT projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical coordination of AIT ETC projects, ensuring implementation and compliance of OHB's AIT processes.
- Define AIT flow, GSE, and facility concepts in early project phases.
- Standardize and update AIT documentation, including AIT Plans, Facility Plans, GSE Deployment Plans, and Risk Registers.
- Ensure GSE suitability and I&T definition across disciplines.
- Control technical coherency and consistency of documents, GSE, and I&T setups.
- Define and maintain interfaces to Engineering, Verification, and Production teams.
- Support test reviews and organize results data review and approvals.
- Organize and maintain AIT data storage for respective projects.
- Define and manage AIT tools usage for assigned projects.
- Support AIT ETC managers with planning activities and training, guidance, and mentoring of employees.
- Information exchange and networking within the team and with other departments/units and external partners.
- Knowledge management, including knowledge generation, documentation, and transfer.
Requirements
- Aerospace or Electrical Engineer degree with experience in space business or related matters.
- Five years of experience in space business, considered a necessary background for this role.
- Knowledge of satellite system aspects, including thermal testing (thermal balance and thermal cycling).
- Proficient knowledge of physics, electrical, and functional principles of satellite systems.
- Good relationship capabilities, both internal and external.
- Understanding of issues, identifying root causes, and defining solutions.
- Flexibility in work organization, including shift work, weekend, or holiday work, if needed.
- Working under quality control rules.
- Flexibility to travel.
