Electrical Engineer Job Description

At TE Connectivity, we're looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in conceiving original ideas for new products and reducing them into practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceive original ideas for new products and reduce them into practice.
  • Responsible for product development and qualification from market definition through production and release.
  • Supports Qualification of suppliers for new products to ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials and services for new or improved manufacturing processes.
  • Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
  • Directs and supports detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication and manufacturing ramp.
  • Provides all required Product documentation including, but not limited to, Solid Model, 2D production drawings, product specifications and testing requirements.
  • Creates and modifies detailed drawings and drafting, or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches or notes and contributes to design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product.
Requirements:
  • Technical knowledge (Electrical Engineering & Energy products/applications).
  • High Voltage Electrical Engineering or equivalent degrees.
  • Disciplined and systematic approach to technical work and problem-solving.
  • Stress Management in high-voltage applications.
  • Medium and high voltage Energy products knowledge.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, possessing strong written and spoken communication skills. German will be a plus.
