These include low-orbiting and geostationary satellites for Earth observation, navigation, telecommunications, science, and space exploration, as well as systems for human space flight and aerial reconnaissance.
We are looking for a AIT Ingenieur (m/f/d) to join our team in Ottobrunn. As a key member of our AIT ETC project team, you will be responsible for the overall technical responsibility and go-to person for a project across disciplines. Your tasks will include technical coordination, ensuring implementation and compliance of OHB's AIT processes, defining AIT flow, GSE, and facility concept, standardizing and updating AIT documentation, and ensuring GSE suitability and I&T definition across disciplines.
Your Qualifications
- Aerospace / Electrical Engineer degree (or similar) with experience in working for Space Business or related matters
- Five years of experience in Space Business are considered a necessary background for this role
- Knowledge of the satellite system aspects with technological items, specific knowledge on satellite system thermal testing (thermal balance and thermal cycling) is required
- Profound knowledge of physics, electrical, and functional principles of a Satellite System
- Good relationship capabilities, either internal to the other OHB Team Members, either external, in relationship to the Customer
- Understanding of issues, identify root causes, define solution
- Flexibility in work organization: work in shift, work in weekend or holidays, if needed
- Working under quality control rules
- Flexibility to travel
