Job Overview

Flink is seeking a highly skilled Employment Law Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide expert advice on employment and labour law matters, ensuring compliance with German regulations and supporting the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on employment and labour law matters to internal stakeholders, particularly the People department.
  • Draft employment contracts, supplementary agreements, and HR policies that align with German labour law.
  • Represent Flink in labour law court proceedings in Germany.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment and labour law regulations and implement them within Flink.
  • Develop and deliver labour and employment law training for the People Department.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified lawyer in Germany with both state examinations.
  • Zero to two years of professional experience in employment and labour law, preferably in an international law firm, labour law boutique, or as an in-house counsel.
  • Extensive experience in handling labour law court proceedings.
  • Independent, self-reliant style of working, high resilience, and team player.
  • Pragmatic approach and hands-on mentality.
  • Strong communication skills, high social competence, negotiation skills, and assertiveness.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
